Your first meeting with a senior Wellington
adviser, usually in your home, is confidential, free of charge and entirely without obligation. From that meeting onwards, respecting your trust and confidentiality governs everything we do for you.

Having learned about your circumstances, we will go away and research your requirements and the best means of meeting them. Then we will arrange a further meeting, by appointment, and report our findings and your options at your own pace, explaining everything as we go. When you have had time to consider our recommendations, we will make all arrangements on your behalf.

At the outset, we will, as required by the Financial Services Authority, give you documents explaining your rights and our duties to you, and setting out what we do and how we do it. We will request your written authority to act on your behalf, if you wish us to do so.

At regular six monthly intervals we will visit you again and give you a comprehensive, written portfolio of your finances: income, capital, investments, credit facilities and tax liabilities, and discuss the contents. As your circumstances change, we will advise you on the steps you could take and, if necessary, implement any changes.

Our services, however complex, may cost you nothing, as the providers of most financial products will often pay us a commission. You may choose to pay us by fee instead, or by a combination of the two. You will know in advance what sums are involved so that you can make an informed decision.

We can advise you on:
  • Mortgages: first home, next home, holiday home, buy to let, equity release, commercial
  • Pensions: personal and company pensions, income drawdown, stakeholder, pension rights transfer
  • Investments: banks, building societies and National Savings, investment bonds, unit trusts, PEPs and ISAs, financing your children’s future education
  • Insurance: life, disability, health, property, long term care
  • Loans: secured and unsecured, debt consolidation
  • Taxation and Trusts: income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax
